haveiliedtoyou: (I'm sorry. Did you want something?)
If there is anyone able to access the Battledome Facility who happens to be capable of constructing mechanical limbs, your assistance would be appreciated. I'm not asking for much. A simple carrying capacity of two tons would likely suffice. Given the structure of this building in particular and the obvious lack of maintenance it requires, however, I can't say I have my hopes too high for any of you.

Ah, I see. The construction itself is rather easy, but the gathering of materials is likely the most difficult task. Cameras, however, are simple. I could create as many of those as necessary as long as the materials at the local shop held.

It's hardly a fully-functional test facility, but I suppose it would do for the time being.

The cameras then...What sort would you required? And how many? A few specifics would aid in the designing process.

If you are indeed capable of making them mobile, then that lowers the number I would need. I'd estimate only ten or twenty would be a good start. They must be capable of providing a live video stream and two-way audio connection. Oh, yes. Being able to survive a fall of at least eight feet would be very helpful. That all shouldn't be too much to ask.

Mobile as in robotic mobile or mobile as in handheld video cameras? Both types are currently possible, although robotic mobile would require more time.

An...eight feet drop? Do you..plan on dropping them often?

Robotic mobile. Take as long as you need. After all, I have plenty of time.

I have no plans to drop them, but that was an overly common failure mode of the cameras in the Aperture Science Enrichment Center. I would have had them fixed so that such simple issues would be nonexistent, but I had my processes tied up with more... pressing problems.

[Robotic mobile, able to withstand a long drop... Circular then. With treads or retractable legs...]

I see...Do you have a preferred aesthetic design? It seems you are also interested in science, yes?

Obviously science requires keen [ constant ] observation. Therefore the aesthetic should be secondary to their functionality. You could paint pink hearts on them and I wouldn't care.

Well. Don't make the into anything resembling a target. Unless you plan to make a lot of them as they get destroyed.

...I see. [Pink...hearts. Right. Not...doing that. Japan can be heard sketching, however.]

Would you be putting them into situations where they might become targets?

I certainly don't plan on it, but I've found that some humans can have rather... destructive streaks. It's more a matter of being prepared, really.

Ah... Yes, humans can be very destructive at times.

I will try to make them as durable as possible then. A spherical design with a built in tread should allow them free movement...
